This is the Sixth
Revision of The Whitebook
(February 1998). As always, Helper has kept in all the important parts
and simply allowed whomever to type, write and draw. The various type styles
are mere approximations, but are faithful to the original writing in the
Fourth Revision. Hand-drawn figures
have all been redrawn by the original artists.
Each section retains its original place and title, though Cross Talk
Dreams has been significantly reduced. Any dream involving obvious
Memory Revelations, Lois's Dream and one of the better appearances
of The Three Ladies have been retained.
Ultimately, Helper and Whiteman are most likely responsible for any typos,
though it should be pointed out that the editors, writers and artists did
have access to Spell Check software. This revision is also the third time
that The Whitebook has
been computer drafted. The Third Revision
(mid 1980's) and the Fifth Revision
(January 1996) were also fully edited by computer. This edition was specifically
modified to make it possible to mount it as a Website.
Different standard spellings are rampant. These variations have been retained
from the Third and Fourth
Revision, or where evident in new writings as part
of this revision. The exact standard spelling used is the choice of that
editor, writer or artist.
