VRML Chat Choices

Welcome to the Pacoima Ranch implementation of 3D immersive chat complete with your choice of avatars. Current deployment uses Blaxxun Contact. A few quick pointers about VRML chat environments: If you get lost rightclick on the sky (or something large without a Touch Spot) and select the first VIEWPOINT. You may need to disable GRAVITY and COLLISION in some situations. You may need to enable or disable HEADLIGHTS in some situations. To move rapidly, try the JUMP function. If the object has a Touch Spot, you may BEAM directly to it via a right click. You may also select a persona's avatar from the chat panel in Blaxxun Contact and right click, then select BEAM to move directly to that persona. To further customize the 3D immersive chat environment in Blaxxun Contact, access OPTIONS by looking for the tab with the four yellow rectangles in the chat panel. Avatar selection may be done through the OPTIONS tab. To use a custom avatar, select your persona, select PROPERTIES, then hand edit the AVATAR URL to your avatar's uploaded URL. Some machines may need to make an avatar choice first, then hand edit the avatar's URL.
