Here's a handy page of links to help you get listed with the search engines and to get a lot of links started on the 'Net. Be sure your META TAGS contain both keywords and descriptions as some search engines need 'em (E.Mail me if your not sure what this means). Some of the links will also list you with hundreds (even thousands) of Free For All link sites (FFA) or other similar registries, so be prepared for a lot of E.Mail. I've marked the links that use FFA (or similar) in part or whole, so that you may use or skip them. FFA is great for a lot of quick hits, but needs resubmitting at least once per week. You will get a lot of E.Mail (we're talking thousands) if you use FFA, but they really do get you a lot of fast hits. What usually happens by using this service is you wind up in Google and AOL in less than six weeks, and if your site is interesting, begin getting hundreds of daily hits. Obviously, your content will have a major effect on whether you get to keep getting those hits.

Years ago, when the 'Net was
new, we used the very first pre-beta of SubmitWolf and really liked it.
It's not free, but it IS worth it if you don't have the time to do
handsubmits. It effortlessly gets you into dozens of top search engines,
hundreds of directories and thousands of FFA Link pages. Its database is
frequently updated so that you're submitting to real pages. An excellent
value from the original submission software maker. As with any mixed FFA
and search engine submisson, be sure to use a public mail service (as in
