Scumware Scripts!!!

The Pacoima Ranch webdevelopers have finally found a detector script for scumware that works. Previous detectors had problems depending on OS and browser, a few even had server-specific problems. This new one (parasite.js) appears to work in all and has been unleashed across all of Pacoima Ranch on any page that spawns an advertising popup. It's invisible to noninfected surfers, but appends a report (with help links) for infected surfers. It is strongly recommended that webmasters visit DoxDesk.COM's parasite pages and make use of this wonderful script.

Scumware has been a serious 'Net problem for over a year, and has resulted in many lawsuits and scandals. The most serious have involved Kaazaa (TopText) and Gator. This new detector script only detects ActiveX, but since scumware is aimed at IE and Windows, this script targets the correct OS and browser combination.
