Incognito Proxy!!!

Got security concerns about the sites you visit or who's secretly sniffing your trail? We did too and decided to strike back and do something about it. This being Pacoima Ranch, we now share the wealth with the Rangers and Rangerettes. The Incognito Proxy service will mask most of your trail. It makes you look like a Linux box with an X11 desktop in Glendale, California - no matter where you really are! Is the masking bulletproof? Nope, no such thing. Certain JS (and similar) tricks can reveal who you really are, but if you're that paranoid, just check ALL the boxes on the configurator, turn off Java, turn off all scripting (JS, JavaScript, VBScript, EcmaScript, etc.). Only a dedicated, government-level sniffer can then figure out who you are.

Most of us aren't that paranoid, so just checking the HIDE REFERRER INFORMATION and REMOVE ALL COOKIES options are sufficient. These two options are important to use, they confuse DoubleClick (and other unethical advertisers) and keep most malicious sites from scanning you for identifying information, yet have little or no visual nor functional impact on your surfing experience. You can also check the SHOW URL ENTRYFORM if you'll be switching a lot from links within a page to handtyped URL's - though this option will add an ugly location bar at the top of the page.
