The Pacoima Ranch Vision Award is proud to announce it has been certified by the Ethics Pledge Program. The founding principles of the Ethics Pledge Program are, honesty, integrity, fairness. The complete wording of the Vision Award Ethics Pledge:

The Always Pledges
  1. To always promptly and politely review and answer applications in fifteen days or less.
  2. To always apply, without prejudice, our criteria (adult and hate sites exempted and not eligible).
  3. To always have each application reviewed by a minimum of three jurists.
  4. To always remain neutral as regards hosting and advertising (adult and hate sites exempted and not eligible)
  5. To always use the publicly posted criteria.
  6. To always make changes in criteria public.
  7. To always only use the criteria as displayed on the date of application.
  8. To always give each and every eligible site its award.
The Never Pledges
  1. To never expect payment in any form for an award.
  2. To never expect an entry in a guestbook, forum, BBS, nor similar for an award.
  3. To never expect a linkback for an award.
  4. To never give an award to every application unless ALL applications are qualified.
  5. To never have an Everyone Wins An Award Program  - winners are special and EARN their award via their qualifying content - this includes so-called Platinum, Gold, Silver, and Bronze programs where each application will win one of the levels.
  6. To never review a friend's, business associate's, family member's, nor any conflict-of-interest site's website, but to use the right to recuse and include a special jurist instead for the review.
  7. To never reveal information about applicants - except as specifically required by legal process - Proof of Jurisdiction will be considered the standard.
  8. To never spam (UCE/UBE) applicants nor winners.
  9. To never rescind an award except in the unusual situation of a site which has added adult or hate content.
