To children: If you are 13 or
under, at no time should you use any of the various E.Mail panels, our
many Chat Room features, our Discussion Boards, our Shopping Malls nor
the Bazaar Boutiques if you will be posting ANY personal information.
Such communications will be immediately deleted on detection unless an
appropriate parental authorization is on file. Do not reveal your age
to anyone, your full name, address (not even the city), credit card
numbers, phone numbers, E.Mail addresses nor any special information
about yourself and your family. This is for your safety, OK. If
someone in the Chat Rooms becomes too friendly, get your parents or
older friends to look at what they are saying to you. Though rare, it
is possible that someone is only pretending to be your friend. Your
parents are the best judge of this. When communicating with us here at
Pacoima Ranch, only include your first name, and clearly indicate if
you are 13 or under so that we may first contact your parents for the
help we need from them. We will E.Mail you as quickly as we can with
how your parents should contact us.
To parents: An appropriate authorization must include
the child's first name (or other name or names they use here), your
full name, and your parental E.Mail address. E.Mail address failure
will cause us to delete all communications and may be grounds for
ISP/IP blocking. Though vague at this time, it is possible that the
evolving COPPA standard may require that you land mail us a written
authorization. For budget reasons, phone service is not currently
offered. Parents may preauthorize their children to use these features
by E.Mailing us or using the E.Mail panel near the bottom of this
page. Pacoima Ranch reserves the right to contact parents in
situations were we feel a communication from anyone 13 or under has
been posted here. Pacoima Ranch reserves the right to engage in ISP/IP
blocking to enforce this Federal policy. Pacoima Ranch is not in the
habit of collecting personal information from our surfers, though
personal information may possibly be collected for internal use only
via our various E.Mail panels, our many Chat Room features, and our
Discussion Boards. This information will never be revealed to any
third party except in legal situations in which Pacoima Ranch is
compelled to reveal it. Pacoima Ranch will consider Proof of
Jurisdiction to be an adequate measure of compelling us to comply.
Pacoima Ranch is not responsible for the policies of the various
merchants in our Shopping Malls and our Bazaar Boutiques, though we
encourage contact in the event you feel a merchant has compromised the
COPPA standards. In the event that an outside source linked to via
Pacoima Ranch engages in "cookie" usage, Pacoima Ranch is not
responsible for this outside sources use of this "cookie". You should
visit this outside source's website to determine their policies. You
